Resin-bonded fixed dental protheses: Science & Clinical recommendations

Aesthetic demands but also restorative needs in the anterior dentition have changed dramatically within the last decades. All-ceramic resin-bonded fixed dental protheses were developed 20 years ago and add reliable treatment options in modern prosthodontics, when an anterior tooth is lost.

The advantages of all-ceramic resin-bonded fixed dental protheses are: superior esthetics, minimally invasive treatment approach and less costly treatment option, when compared to single tooth implants. Excellent long-term data has been published over the last years. The lecture will present case series and the scientific evidence pertaining to the clinical success of resin-bonded fixed dental protheses.

The learning objectives will be

1.) to provide recommendations for clinical and laboratory procedures for resin-bonded fixed dental protheses

2.) to give rationale of case based selection of resin-bonded fixed dental protheses

3) to present scientific evidence pertaining to the clinical success of resin-bonded fixed dental protheses.
